My Kindle Fire HD 8.9 with Android App

It started out when during one of my Bishop Helmsing classes, our instructor told us we could get the Kindle App for our computer to download books and read them from the computer. Needless to say, I did that as soon as I got home. I LOVED IT!!

The more I read, the more I wished I could take the books with me. I talked to my husband about it and he said he wanted to get me a Nook Tablet instead of a Kindle.

I got online and compared the two and had him come and look at what the differences were. He asked me which one I preferred and I told him the Kindle Fire.

Well, he surprised me with the Kindle Fire HD 8.9" 32GB Tablet!!! I am soooo in love with it!! What I really love is I can read my books on my computer and then when I go to read them on my Kindle, it's right where I left off and has all my highlights and notes with it!!

And now that I've found your "Love My Fire!", I'm even more in love with it. I just ordered the cable so I can hook up to my TV!! Thank you for your site. It's Great!!

What a great story, Sherry! And how fabulous to be surprised with a Kindle Fire HD as a special Christmas gift from your husband!

It's so fun being surprised with something we wanted, but even better when we end up *really* loving our new gift.

Thanks for sharing these pictures of your tablet showing your personalized background! You must have followed my tutorial on making your Kindle Fire look like a traditional Android device. Awesome!
