One Up My Cousin!

I got a settlement from a car wreck and I wanted to get a kindle fire HD. I already have a kindle fire and wanted to go bigger.

My cousin got an HD 7" and I decided I had to go bigger than him. So my husband said you will not have another chance like this, get the HD 8.9" so Chris can drool over it.

The best thing I like is we have three kindles in our house and we only have to pay one prime account. And we have the same things on all three.

I like everything about my 8.9 kindle. In the 2 yrs I have had a kindle I have only had to buy a few books and the other 10,000 I have gotten free in all the subjects that I love. I always have free books.

I now use my kindle more than my computer, although every once in a while I have to go to the computer and deliver e-mails. I still have several questions, like can you take games and books off that you have already read? Or are they there forever?

Kathy, this is such a fun story, thanks for sharing it with us!

I love how you got the Kindle Fire HD 8.9" when you had some extra money, and then got to tease your cousin about having the nice big screen!

As for your question, yes you can delete items off of your Kindle Fire as well as from the Amazon Cloud if you never want to see them again. I have a new FAQ on How to Delete Digital Content, which explains how to do this.
