The Little Tablet that Could

When I was looking for a Kindle e-reader, I was intrigued by the Fire, because it could also help me stay up-to-date on my online social media feeds. When the HD came out, I knew the upgrade was worth it given how much I'd already started using the 1st gen Fire.

Soon after, the iPad Mini came out, I admit I wondered if I should have gone that route. (I don't really want a full-size iPad since they're too big and heavy for how I want to use a tablet.)

I've started using my Fire HD (7") at work now, carrying it around instead of my personal MacBook or work laptop that I used to drag everywhere.

Some people will tell you that iPads are the only way to go, and I do think they are amazing machines. In fact, I recently bought my wife a 4th gen iPad because of her tablet needs. But, for me, I love my Kindle Fire HD -- it's the little tablet that could!

Hi Ari, thanks for sharing such a fun story! I especially love your last line, "...it's the little tablet that could!" That's a perfect description for the Kindle Fire!

I prefer the 7" tablet size, as well, and pack my Kindle Fire with me everywhere.

I've never been an "Apple" girl (I don't particularly like the fruit either, preferring bananas instead) so I was never interested in the iPad. I'm sure it's an amazing tablet, however, when I fell in love with my Kindle Fire my eyes and heart only had one focus. ;)

Thanks again for sharing your experience with us!

Fire vs Fruit

Five flames for loving your Kindle Fire, even when tempted with the appeal of a juicy apple. ;)
